I want one! How does the Silicon Travel PC System work?
The PC is installed, maintained and serviced by Silicon Travel. It is leased by the homeowner from Silicon Travel through the Property Management Company. The only requirement for the homeowner is to supply a suitable location within the home equipped with a desk and the proper outlets.
Exclusivity
Silicon Travel's "Prime Directive" is to maxmize your home's booked rental weeks by offering this terrific new amenity for your guests. When a Silicon Travel PC is placed in your home, the Property Management Company's website makes your home exclusive by adding it to the search category "Internet PC" on their website search page. Guests who want on-line access during their vacation will easily find and book your property!
Help and Support
To minimize downtime for your guests and to make their computer and on-line experience at your home pleasurable, Silicon Travel includes an Information Manual with every PC with detailed instructions for operating the system. Our 1-800 Help desk number is boldly posted on the monitor for quick reference. Our 1-800 Help Desk operates from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM seven days a week 365 days a year. If the Help Desk must dispatch one of our local on-site technicians, we respond either the same day or within 24 hours. No repairs are done in an occupied home. We simply exchange the problem computer with a new one.
I'm Sold! What does the Silicon Travel PC System cost?
Now priced at just $90 per month for the average rental season (refer to the home's market area for rental season), along with a $250 annual subscription charge, plus applicable taxes.** NOTE: If your property does not currently have cable installed (Satellite/DTV only), monthly service rates will be charged an additional $120/year and Cable installation fees will apply.

All leases are for a term of one Calendar year and renew automatically for additional terms of one (1) calendar year unless terminated by you or Silicon Travel. Termination by Silicon Travel, for any other reason than non-payment, will not occur until the end of any advertised rental season.

Wireless Internet packages are available starting at $30/month, plus a one time $60 installation fee. We will set-up the best package for you.
I have my own Desktop PC. Will it work with Silicon Travel Wireless Internet?
All laptops are compatible with our Internet service. Some Desktop PC's may require installation of a "Wireless Card" in order to work with our services. Please contact Silicon Travel for details regarding your personal desktop computer. Silicon Travel will support the internet connection to your owner provided PC, however additional charges will apply for any hardware and software issues that arise.
