Silicon Travel Wireless offers a flexible option for those rental homes who do not choose to install our complete PC system. The addition of Silicon Travel Wireless makes our unique system available to any rental home regardless of size or available space within the home.
Our service consists of wireless Wi-Fi service throughout the home for those homeowners who wish to provide high-speed access to their guests who bring their own laptops. Silicon Travel Wireless provides the same help desk assistance and on-site technical support that has become our hallmark. Our goal is to ultimately provide the Silicon Travel interactive console that appears on our complete system for all computers accessing the Wi-Fi connection.
I have my own Desktop PC. Will it work with Silicon Travel Wireless Internet?
All laptops are compatible with our Internet Service. Some Desktop PC's may require a "Wireless Card" installed in order to work with our services. Please contact Silicon Travel for details regarding your personal desktop computer. Silicon Travel will support the wireless connection to owner provided PC's. Silicon Travel Wireless on the Outer Banks is priced starting at $30/month, depending on location, plus a one time $60.00 installation fee. All services are billed annually. Please call for rates in other service areas. This service includes modem and router installation, broadband connectivity, plus free 1-800 help desk and on-site support.
